This site can be acceded by own or rented automobile, by taxis or urban bus routes that circulate from the bus station to downtown of Manzanillo and the hotel zone
In automobile, you have to drive through Colima – Manzanillo highway and go towards the Historical Center of the port. Continue on Miguel de la Madrid Hurtado boulevard and later turn tu Niños Héroes Street. Turn right in "El Tajo" crossing, driving on Morelos street until arriving to the Tunnel and later to the La Perlita Wharf (Pearlite Wharf).
It is a traditional place of Manzanillo. In this area was constructed the first wharf of the port; there was also located the railroad station. Now there is a restaurant, and close to the place, in the old railroad station, is the Regional Library "Prof. Julia Piza Miranda
From this wharf, located against the railway station, boat strolls or cruises are realized by the bays of Santiago and Manzanillo to admire the landscape of the hotel zone, beaches and the dusk
For those who have own boats, you can ask for the services of food supply, boats maintenance and care offered by the Tourist Services Cooperative of Manzanillo
Here is also located the beach of the same name, with not very fine sand (medium), and smooth surge. It is the only beach located within the Historical Center of Manzanillo and has children’s games
La Perlita (The Perlite) is one of the beaches that conform the Bay of Manzanillo, or Bay of Salagua.
