Location It is located in downtown of Villa de Ãlvarez, on Tiburcio Aguilar street, on the north, and J. Merced Cabrera street, on the south, in front of the Municipal Presidency. This garden lodges in its center the Parish of San Francisco de AsÃs, main parish of the city. This place can be acceded walking or by different means of transport, such as urban bus routes, taxis and particular automobile. Driving by the main street of the city, Manuel Ãlvarez and J. Merced Cabrera you can arrive to the main garden and the Church. Atractions This always has been the center of the old town of San Francisco de Almoloyan, since its construction in 1829; formerly it was a small space that by its north part contemplated the passage of the little mules trams. Around it all the salesmen settled every afternoon to sell their flavorful food After 1974 the east garden was totally remodeled, closing Independence street on the south of the parish, and on the north of it the garden was extended until Tiburcio Aguilar street, giving with this greater enhancement to the main temple of the city; for such aim Miguel Hidalgo street, to the east, and the old Benito Juárez street, to the west, were cancelled (today Martha Dueñas). It is a pleasant site for resting, where the beauty of their gardens stands out. In its design we can find reproductions of the Volcanos of Colima. Depending on the hour in which this place is attended, it is possible to appreciate the bringing down of the tuba, activity performed by sui generis characters, who climb to the palms of up to 15 meters of height to bring down the tuba (hydromel from the coconut flower) and later sell it to the assistants and observers. This event happens daily between 6 and 7 in the afternoon. Este siempre ha sido el centro del antiguo pueblo de San Francisco de Almoloyan, desde su construcción en el año de 1829; antiguamente era un pequeño espacio que por su parte norte contemplaba el paso de los tranvÃas de mulitas, alrededor de él se aposentaban por las tardes todas las vendedoras de antojitos a vender sus sabrosas viandas. Ubicación Se encuentra al centro de la ciudad de Villa de Ãlvarez, en las calles Tiburcio Aguilar al norte, y al sur la calle J. merced Cabrera; frente a la Presidencia Municipal, este jardÃn alberga en su centro a la Parroquia de San Francisco de AsÃs, parroquia principal de la ciudad. A este lugar puede accederse caminando o por diferentes medios de transporte, tales como rutas de autobuses urbanos, taxis y automóvil particular.
