Regresar a  Location By its extension Manzanillo is the greatest municipality of the state, located 98 km from the city of Colima. It limits on the south-east with the municipality of ArmerÃÂa; on the south with the Pacific Ocean; on the northeast with the municipality of Coquimatlán; on the north with Minatitlán, and on the northeast and the west, with the state of Jalisco.
The municipality is well connected thanks to the roads network; the main road axes are: Colima-Manzanillo, Manzanillo-Puerto Vallarta, Manzanillo-Minatitlán, Ramal-Aeropuerto, Cuyutlán-Manzanillo and Libramiento-Colomos-Tapeixtles, that communicates Manzanillo with all the state and the country
The foreign transportation is made by means of multiple national lines. There is rural and urban transportation, as well as taxis, for the interior of the municipality
The Gold Beach International Airport is the most important of the state because of its national and international reach. The port of Manzanillo offers excellent harbor services with export and import characteristics.

Manzanillo is a port of a great reputation in the country. It was a departure point of numerous marine expeditions by the Pacific Ocean, and through it arrived the Nao from China, coming from the Philippines with its valuable eastern product load. Manzanillo was the third port created by the spaniards in the Pacific.

Ubicación Por su extensión Manzanillo es el municipio más grande del estado, se localiza a 98 Km. de la ciudad de Colima. Limita al sureste con el municipio de ArmerÃÂa; al sur con el Océano PacÃÂfico; al noreste con el municipio de Coquimatlán; al norte con el de Minatitlán, y al noreste y oeste con el estado de Jalisco.
El municipio se encuentra bien comunicado por la red de carreteras; los principales ejes carreteros son: Colima-Manzanillo, Manzanillo-Puerto Vallarta, Manzanillo-Minatitlán, Ramal-Aeropuerto, Cuyutlán-Manzanillo y Libramiento-Colomos-Tapeixtles, que comunica a Manzanillo con todo el estado y paÃÂs.
La transportación foránea se realiza por medio de múltiples lÃÂneas nacionales, para el interior del municipio existe transportación rural y urbana asàcomo taxis.
El Aeropuerto Internacional Playa de Oro es el más importante del estado por su alcance nacional e internacional. El puerto de Manzanillo brinda excelentes servicios portuarios con caracterÃÂsticas para exportación e importación.
