It is located on the North part of the State, towards the north of the city of Colima, in the foothill of the volcano, 18 kilometers from the municipal head of Comala.
From the city of Colima you can access by the Colima â Comala road. Once exceeded the limits of this population, continue on road 16 towards the town of San Antonio, and after 15 kilometers youâll arrive to the Naranjal (Orange grove) crossing, turn right and after three kilometers is the Lagoon of Carrizalillo on your right hand.

This Tourist Center of a Common land was inaugurated in 1975 taking advantage of the Lagoon of Carrizalillo and the natural attractions of the place. The lagoon, surrounded by hills, is surrounded by a panoramic way paved with stones, from where the volcanos can be appraised in all their majesty
There are two viewpoint terraces in the restaurant from where the town of Comala, the city of Colima, and the imposing volcanos can be appreciated. The average temperature of the place is 20 degrees Celsius and it is recommendable to visit it at any time of the year; as for the flora, it predominates the fir trees and the flower of tacote that in winter dresses the field in white, and the lagoon. As for the fauna, it predominates badgers, chachalacas, finches, opossum, raccoons, and a great variety of birds
The Tourist Center was remodeled and reinaugurated in 1999 by the Secretariat of Tourism, and today it presents a new appearance and better services to the visitors. We recommend you to visit this beautiful place and to enjoy its pleasant view and climate.
